Canada’s Housewife brings us a modern bedroom pop anthem with classic indie rock sensibility on their new track “King of Wands.” The track is backed by heavy rhythmic themes and blazingly distorted guitars that call back to post-grunge 90’s rock. The push and pull between the verse and chorus will drag you along through the lyrical imagery heavy with tarot card metaphors made all the more powerful by vocal doubling and infectious guitar riff and melodic themes. Though relatively new to the scene, Housewife is making waves in the Canadian music scene and likely much further with songs like this.
