Following up on the immense success of their 2022 debut and the long tours that came after, the supergroup The Smile has announced a new album. Wall of Eyes is set to be released on January 26 via XL Recordings and its title track has arrived with the news. The new song is accompanied by a Paul Thomas Anderson-directed music video starring Thom Yorke himself. You can watch the new video below.
Wall of Eyes was produced by Sam Petts-Davies and will feature the London Contemporary Orchestra according to sources. Since The Smile released their debut album, A Light For Attracting Attention, Yorke, Jonny Greenwood, and Tom Skinner have been touring tirelessly. The Smile has released a live album and the single “Bending Hectic”, which will also appear on Wall of Eyes. Along with all of this new music, The Smile will set out on a UK and European tour that is set to kick off in March of next year.
