Leti Garza, a multi-talented singer-songwriter based in Austin, Texas, weaves a captivating tapestry of sound and emotion with her unique blend of Latin, folk, and global music. Born and raised in the Lone Star State, Leti’s music is deeply rooted in her multicultural heritage, seamlessly fusing traditional and contemporary elements to create an irresistible sonic experience. Influenced by legends such as Celia Cruz, Eva Garza, and Mercedes Sosa, Leti’s powerful voice and evocative lyrics tell stories of love, loss, and the human experience.
Leti is not only passionate about her music, but she is also a dedicated community activist, using her platform to increase awareness and support for social and environmental causes. She has been twice awarded a Silver Medal for the Global Music Awards for independent artists, is currently nominated for a World Entertainment Award and serves as a mentor for the Recording Academy’s GRAMMY® U
youth members. Leti Garza is also an active member of The Recording Academy, The Latin Recording Academy and the Indie Collaborative.
Her newest album Canciónes Sobre La Vida y La Muerte will be released on January 25th, 2024. Like much of Leti’s discography, Canciónes Sobre La Vida y La Muerte evokes intense emotions that tell sincere stories of the human experience; the bilingual record perfectly complements these narratives with elegant instrumentation. The album spans multiple genres including Latin, Jazz, Pop and New Age, and sonically, the record is spacious.
