Jon Langford & The Bright Shiners are undertaking select U.S. tour dates in celebration of the release of their debut album, Where It Really Starts on the Tiny Global Productions label.
Where It Really Starts is a delightfully off kilter collection of tunes that find Langford’s ever more skeptical lyrics floating on a salty sonic sea of Mellotron, violin and acoustic guitars. The Bright Shiners is a four piece featuring Alice Spencer (Barkers, Shinyribs) on joint lead vocals and Mellotron, John Szymanski (Four Lost Souls) on vocals and guitar and Tamineh Gueramy a deputy Mekon on violin and vocals.
