Manic Monday: Max Cavalera and Short-Lived Nailbomb Throwdown at Dynamo 1995

News that Max Cavalera will be reviving his legendary 90s side project Nailbomb for a one-off show in Tempe, AZ, later this year no doubt came as surprisingly welcome news for fans of the (somewhat obscure) industrial-metal outfit. For those not privy, Nailbomb was a short-lived band consisting of Max and Alex Newport, who was the lead vocalist/guitarist of Fudge Tunnel at the time Nailbomb’s one-off album Point Blank was released in 1994.

Not surprisingly, Newport himself won’t be taking part in the upcoming performance, as he has long since moved on to a successful career as a Grammy-nominated music producer, but considering the upcoming November gig will be Nailbomb’s first in 30 years, the news has understandably created quite a buzz in the metal community. Speaking of their last performance, you can check it out here in all its blistering intensity, live from Dynamo way back in 1995. Crank it!
