Tuesday’s Gone: T. Rex Goes Swingin’ With Tight “Jeepster” Live 1972

If there’s a specific time of year when it just feels a little extra fun to blast some classic 70s glam rock, it would have to be October, would it not? Indeed, considering it’s the season for decadence, the glittery flair, pizzaz, and stylistic flashiness of the genre really go hand-in-hand, so let’s take it back to the beginning of that era with this shit-hot performance of “Jeepster” by the king of glam himself, the late great Marc Bolan.

Indeed, T. Rex effectively launched the glam-rock movement with the release of their classic Electric Warrior album in 1971, and by the time of this 1972 performance, the glam-rock era was in full swing, literally and figuratively (as evidenced by this rad performance). Imagine hopping in a time machine and getting down with that groovalicious crowd…in lieu of that, just crank it!
