Syano started as a solo project from his bedroom desk in 2019 and has since turned into an electric and energetic live band since November 2023. Since the addition of the live band, Syano has headlined The Pavilion and The Kino in Cork City while also playing venues such as Cyprus Avenue (supporting Fun Lovin’ Criminals) and The Everyman Theatre for UnCorked 24.
Syano released his debut Album, The Parish, in May 2024. The lead singles were “Outside” and “Gluestick Youth.” Since this release, Syano’s sound as an artist has started to shape, with more recent releases such as “Time Flies” and “Blind Side.”

Syano wants to stay in the present moment without being bogged down by it, and “Time Flies” archives by borrowing from the world around it and filtering its observations through Syano’s borderless sonics. The new single is an otherworldly anthem that deals with very Earthly issues. Syano balances the dense textures with hushed vocals for a jazzy Neo-soul performance that separates the artist from his peers.
