Greta Van Fleet officially return today with the release of their explosive new single and music video, “Play Your Games,” the first glimpse of what appears to be a bold new chapter for the band.

Recorded in Tennessee and co-produced by the group alongside acclaimed producer Mike Elizondo, whose résumé includes work with Fiona Apple, Sheryl Crow, and Turnstile, “Play Your Games” finds Greta Van Fleet embracing a rawer, more instinctive sound. The track originated from one of the band’s oldest demos unearthed from their archives, channeling the energy, ambition, and untamed spirit that defined their earliest years.

Written by the band, “Play Your Games” surges forward with swaggering riffs, restless energy, and a sense of youthful chaos that recalls their formative days playing small clubs around their hometown of Frankenmuth. Guitarist Jake Kiszka describes the song as capturing “the beautiful nature of seizing a moment.”

The accompanying music video, produced and directed by MOONBASE®, further expands the band’s evolving artistic vision.
