Another Planet Entertainment, Superfly Productions and Starr Hill Presents are excited to announce the lineup for the Outside Lands 2013 Night Shows. For fans that haven’t had their fill of music after an incredible day in Golden Gate Park, the festival has taken over several San Francisco performance spaces and clubs – The Independent, Bimbo’s, The Rickshaw Stop, Brick & Mortar Music Hall and the California Academy of Sciences – to host rare, intimate performances by: The Tallest Man on Earth, Zedd, Smith Westerns, Social Studies, Wampire, The Growlers, Houndmouth, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Bombino, Milo Greene, Wild Belle, Yeasayer, Cherub, King Tuff, The Men and the Superjam featuring Ivan Neville’s Dumpstaphunk with Jon Cleary featuring John Oates and Very Special Guests. 100% of ticket sales for the Superjam will benefit the San Fransisco Recreation and Park Department. Tickets go on sale Friday, July 19 at 12 noon PDT via www.sfoutsidelands.com/nightshows. Only Outside Lands festival ticket purchasers will have the opportunity to see these night shows in San Francisco. Buy your tickets now to Outside Lands, if you haven’t yet, to gain access to these intimate performances. Friday General Admission and Single Day and three-Day VIP Tickets are the only available tickets remaining for the festival.
Passwords to purchase tickets to Outside Lands Night Shows will be sent via email on Thursday, July 18th after 12PM to all Outside Lands ticket holders who have purchased online by Thursday, July 18 at 10AM PDT.
Festival organizers are also proud to announce an eclectic lineup for the comedy and variety tent known as The Barbary, which is again co-curated by SF Sketchfest, the popular San Francisco Comedy Festival. Named in honor of San Francisco’s infamous Barbary Coast district, The Barbary provides the perfect setting for a true post-modern vaudevillian mix of stand-up, sketch comedy, music and more.
The Barbary will be headlined by Jeffrey Ross, Craig Robinson, Maria Bamford, Eugene Mirman, Rob Huebel and Wyatt Cenac andwill play host to a number of other very special shows throughout the weekend, including music and storytelling with Bring the Rock, popular podcaster Julie Klausner in The Julie Klausner Cabaret Situation, the music of Bridget Everett and The Tender Moments, comedians vying for best ridiculous tale with Competitive Erotic Fan Fiction, andkaraoke and ping pong, together at last, with Singin’ & Pingin.’ These diverse events will feature appearances by some of comedy’s brightest and funniest.
