Joseph Arthur’s trio for his upcoming North American dates will feature Mike Mills of REM and Bill Dobrow, his drummer throughout the Boogie Christ world tour. The second album in a planned triology, The Ballad of Boogie Christ Act 2 will be available Friday, November 29 as an Official Record Store Day release. Among the album’s contributors are the Band’s legendary pianist Garth Hudson, bassist Catherine Popper and multi-instrumentalist Kraig Jarret Johnson.
Arthur’s new book I Miss the Zoo and Other Poetry Selections (EM Press), a collection of poems, lyrics and art pieces is available now through Amazon.
