The first set saw the return of Torn and Frayed from the Rolling Stones’ Exile on Main Street for the first time since November 21, 2009. A particularly dark Bathtub Gin was the longest improv of an opening stanza that also included rarities Jesus Just Left Chicago (ZZ Top) and Nellie Cane (Hot Rize).

Set Two saw yet another rendition of the White Tape chestnut Fuck Your Face and the Mike’s that followed contained a number of Fuck Your Face teases and jams. The string of inventive Mike’s Grooves continues as the quartet fit Light, 20 Years Later and Fast Enough For You between Mike’s and Weekpaug. Light had a few unique jams while 20 Years Later was also taken deeper than usual and featured lots of wah action from guitarist Trey Anastasio making this segment a keeper.
A rare Reba encore, the first since September 21, 1999, featured Manteca quotes during a unique segment of the jam that diverged from the main theme. Backwards Down The Number Line was tacked as an additional bonus for the well satiated crowd. Phish heads to Utica for another performance at a tiny venue, the Utica Memorial Auditorium.
