Apparently a number of festivals are trying to sell tickets over the holiday season as announcements are hitting our mailbox at a furious pace. To name a few – The Hangout Festival will return to Gulf Shores, AL on May 20 – 22, moe.’s Snoe.down event comes back to the Killington/Rutland region of Vermont on March 25th through 27th and the Sasquatch! Festival announced its return to The Gorge over Memorial Day Weekend as well as named the Foo Fighters as the Friday night headliner.
Most of this week’s festival announcements came sans lineup announcements, but not Bear Creek. The event, which just wrapped its 2010 event, has already divulged part of the bill for next year’s festival. Medeski, Scofield, Martin and Wood, Lettuce, The Funky Meters and MMW are just a few of the bands scheduled to perform in Live Oak on November 11-13, 2011.
