Six years after filming their New Year’s show at the Riviera in Chicago, which was released the following year as Wrapped Around Chicago, prog-jammers Umphrey’s McGee will film all three upcoming New Year’s Run shows at the same venue for a future DVD release.

The band also announced that Friday night’s New Year’s Eve performance is sold out and only limited tickets remain for Wednesday and Thursday night’s gigs. Unlike the last few Umphrey’s New Year’s Run, there will be no openers at this stretch of shows. You can purchase tickets for the 12/29 and 12/30 concerts through etix or at the Vic box office in Chicago.
