A major change will take place with one of the hardest working bands in the scene as the Ryan Montbleau Band annouced violist Laurence Scudder will leave the group “to pursue other musical interests and take on the world as the rockingest violist around.” The RMB will add guitarist Lyle Brewer to the fold. This marks the first change to the band’s lineup in six years.

After a rare few months off the road, the Ryan Montbleau Band returns to the stage with its new lineup on March 11 in Fall River, MA.

Three cheers for my man Larry, one of the most talented musicians I’ve ever had the privilege to play with and call one of my closest friends on earth. Go get ’em, L-Train.
Ride on Train, Ride on. Can’t wait to see what’s next.
good luck larry! ride on, ride on
Bring back Hairy Banjo, Larry! It’s what the people want!
All best to Larry on future endeavors. Lyle is an ace; will be a great fit, and hopefully Sarah Borges appears with the band once in a while, too…
Is this your viola Larry?
Enjoyed my share of RMB gigs with you and the boys.
Can’t wait to see and hear what is on tap.
I think some a viola would work great in Birdface.
Harry Banjo? Still one of the best band names ever.
Shine on, rockingest violist.
my fiance wants Larry IN HER. so she will be bummed by this.
