After months of speculation and various confirmation of which musicians would make up the touring version of the Warren Haynes Band, we finally know who will join Warren in his new ensemble. Vocalist Ruthie Foster, keyboardist and vocalist Nigel Hall, drummer Terrence Higgins, sax wiz Ron Holloway and bassist Ron Johnson are all on board for the group’s first tour.
Not only will the WHB perform at Bonnaroo, Mountain Jam, the Wanee Festival, the Hangout Festival and High Sierra, but the group will also headline a tour of its own. Here’s a full list of headlining dates…

Included in today’s announcement is word that Warren will perform an acoustic set at some point during each of these shows. Pre-sale tickets for all the shows (except Boston, Indianapolis and Kansas City) will be available Monday March 7th at 3pm Local Time through Warren Haynes Ticketing. Pre-sales for Boston, Indianapolis and Kansas City will be Monday March 14th at 3pm Local Time. You can also purchase VIP packages for a few of these gigs via CID Entertainment.

The question is will Warren be bringing his band down to NOLA for the 2nd wknd of Jazz Fest & will Warren be in NOLA on Festivus Eve (Wed 5/4)? Warren sat in w/ Kraz & Friends at La Maison for That’s What Love Will Make You Do last year on Festivus Eve…could have gone home happy after that but there was much, much more to come in the Crescent City.
