In a clever collaboration with Consequence of Sound, Cluster1 and Roll Call Records, the Chicago band Scattered Trees currently has a running contest to create their official video for the song Four Days Straight. They tagged four directors-in-the-making from Princeton, NYU, Columbia and the School of Visual Arts to submit a video, and the winner gets a cool one thousand samoleans and the term “official” added to their creation. This is my personal favorite submission directed by Markus Kneer of NYU, but all four entries are worthy of a look. It helps that they have a great song to work with.
