The Chicago/California duo of Liz Lux and Jamie Cassedy, who perform under the moniker Me and Cassady, offered HT an exclusive download of their fantastic take on the Donovan classic, Colours. Me and Cassady take a more upbeat, decorated approach to the song while staying true to that distinctive woozy Donovan sound. LOVE IT! I listened to the original version as well and I think Donavan would approve. Haunting, melodic and you can feelthe emotion in your voice.

Great Job! Not and easy task to take on such a rich song, however you both nailed it. I find myself taken away by the emotional voice and smooth music. It’s been a long time since I have heard a cover done to that level! Can not wait for some more!
