DMB Caravan: Final Two Stops Announced

When the Dave Matthews Band announced earlier this year that they would headline four of their own festivals, you would’ve thought the events would be spread out around the country. Apparently that’s not the case as the band just announced the final two DMB Caravans – August 26 – 28 on Governor’s Island in New York City and September 2 – 4 at The Gorge in George, WA. The Governor’s Island event takes place a mere two hours north of the first DMB Caravan, which is set to take place at Bader Field in Atlantic City from June 24 – 26.

As for the Gorge Caravan, which takes place over Labor Day Weekend and acts as the DMB’s only West Coast shows of 2011, they will be joined by Dispatch, the Roots, John Butler Trio, Gogol Bordello, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Josh Ritter & the Royal City Band, Blind Pilot, the Belle Brigade, the Moondoggies and Lindsay Fuller with more bands to be announced soon.
