Les Claypool seems to be re-inspired since bringing drummer Jay Lane back into the Primus fold last year as the band has unveiled new songs and “The Colonel” has been playing with unbridled passion of late. Primus’ current lineup recently went back into the studio and the results can be heard on September 13, when the band releases Green Naugahyde, their first studio album in 11 years. Claypool handled production and engineering duties for the LP, which was recorded at his home studio.
