DMB Caravan Governor’s Island Status Update: Saturday and Sunday Postponed

Mother nature has put a wrench in the plans for the DMB Caravan Governor’s Island festival, a three-day event which is scheduled to kick off tomorrow. While the first day will go ahead as planned, the organizers have postponed Saturday and Sunday’s action after NY Governor Andrew Cuomo declared a State of Emergency due to Hurricane Irene. Those holding tickets for Saturday and/or Sunday’s concerts will be able to attend the Friday performances. An announcement detailing the make up dates is forthcoming.

Here’s the official announcement from DMBCaravan.com

Ticket holders for Saturday and Sunday are invited to attend the Friday event tomorrow at Governors Island. The Governor of New York has issued a state of emergency, therefore the DMB Caravan events on Saturday, August 27th and Sunday, August 28th have been postponed. We will announce the new Caravan Governors Island dates as soon as they have been confirmed. We will continue to post updates to the Caravan site as they are confirmed.
