Questlove Shows Appreciation For Flecktones / Warns OWS

On Monday night, Bela Fleck and The Flecktones appeared on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon (@LateNightJimmy), performing Life in Eleven from their new LP, Rocket Science. Fleck (@belafleckbanjo) who is a relative newcomer to Twitter, let fans know before the show aired that he also sat in with The Roots (@theroots) for the entire show.

After the taping, The Roots drummer Questlove (@questlove) tweeted out his extremely positive reaction to seeing The Flecktones in action, despite his tardiness in appreciating the group.

Moments after the drummer exchanged pleasantries with the banjoist, Questlove happened upon a large group of New York City police officers preparing to raid the Occupy Wall Street camp at Zuccotti Park. He soon became one of the first to alert the protestors of the impending action, despite initial doubts from the Occupy Wall Street (@OccupyWallStNYC) Twitter feed.
