Tour Dates: The Head & The Heart Spring Tour

If we were to give out an award for breakout band of the year, we’d probably have to strongly considering handing it out to The Head & The Heart, who have seen their stock rise exponentially throughout 2011. The Seattle-based act, who released their self-titled debut debut via venerable indie label Sup Pop this year, has shared bills with the likes of Dr. Dog, Iron & Wine, The Decemberists, and Death Cab For Cutie, along with hitting just about every major music festival, and to top it all headed out on their first ever headlining tour this fall. Last week the six-piece band revealed a slew of early spring dates, which kicks off with an appearance at the Snow Ball Music Festival in Aspen, Colorado on March 3, and also includes a high profile stop for what is sure to be their largest headline show to date at New York’s cavernous Terminal 5 on March 18.
