Phish to Webcast MSG NYE Run

Continuing a trend started last New Year’s Run, Phish is once again teaming up with Nugs.net to offer Pay-Per-View broadcasts of all four NYE Run shows set to take place at Madison Square Garden on December 28-31. If you look at the LivePhish page for the MSG shows, you’ll see a link for a $55 four-day pass marked as “Live Video.”

Phish first teamed with Nugs and the LivePhish team for last year’s MSG shows. In 2011, besides the January 1st show at MSG, LivePhish has offered webcasts of the band’s two Alpharetta performances in June, a pair of gigs in Lake Tahoe and a three-night stand that took place in September at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park near Denver as well as a benefit show in Vermont later that month.

Update: Now that the webcasts have been officially announced, the band has revealed  pay-per-show options ($14.99 for December 28th, 29th, 30th and $19.99 for New Year’s Eve). Also, archived streams will be available to fans within three days of each show ending. At that point you’ll get a code that you’ll have 48 hours to redeem and watch the concert.

  1. can’t wait for these shows – i’ll be at the first 3 and then enjoying NYE from my couch. i’ll look for you in NYC, scotty b!

fyi, i checked and single shows are available too – 20 bucks for NYE? can’t even park in NYC for that 🙂

  2. I think that live show needs less close ups and more lights! It gets so annoying never getting to see the lights! It just feels better with the lights… Like I’m there. More lights! More lights!
