Video: Chris Robinson Brotherhood w/ Phil Lesh

Following a few clue-filled tweets, we had a feeling that last night’s Chris Robinson Brotherhood show at the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco would be special and we were right. For the group’s second set, Grateful Dead / Furthur bassist Phil Lesh emerged for a closing stanza filled with mostly Dead and Dead-related tunes.

Robinson has a long history with Lesh as the Black Crowes opened for the Dead in 1995 and then Chris went to become one of Phil’s “Friends.” CRB’s bassist Mark “Duddy” Dutton sat out while Lesh worked his magic. We’re waiting for recordings to hit bt.etree.org, but for now take a look at Sugaree…
