Van Halen Announces Tour Dates / Rocks Cafe Wha?

Last night Van Halen returned to the stage for the first time since 2008 at the 250-capacity Cafe Wha? in New York City’s Greenwich Village, a club owned by front man David Lee Roth’s Uncle Manny, and won a glowing review from Rolling Stone’s Andy Greene. The group tore through songs from their heyday, ignoring anything they put out after the release of 1984. Van Halen did debut one new song, She’s The Woman, though the original was written back in 1976.
