One of the cooler aspects about Lollapalooza is the fact that you don’t actually need to deal with the crazy crowds at Grant Park to see some of your favorite bands, as each year fest organizers take full advantage of Chicago’s plethora of music venues by offering up a full slate of official after shows. Late last week Lollapalooza revealed its late night options, with a variety of cross-genre acts that includes HT faves Dr. Dog, The War on Drugs, Blind Pilot, Alabama Shakes and Trampled By Turtles, all set to hit the Windy City’s clubs and theaters from August 1st through the 5th. In other Lolla news, you can also start planning your day, as the daily schedule has been released. With eight stages and three days packed full of music that start at 11:30 AM and run till 10 PM, you’re going to need as much time as you can get to fully plan ahead.
