In Honor of New Ben Folds Five Album, Here’s Pro-Shot Video of the Band’s Complete Bonnaroo 2012 Set

Of the many reunions that have taken place thus far in 2012, we’re most intrigued by the return of Ben Folds Five. The trio was one of the rare bands that excelled both in the studio AND on stage. So far the Chapel Hill based band have played a handful of festival gigs featuring setlists culled from the group’s late ’90s output. However, come September, when BFF heads out on a massive world tour, we expect plenty of new material following yesterday’s announcement that they will release their first new studio album in 13 years, The Sound Of The Life Of The Mind, on September 18.

Ben Folds Five’s second gig back took place at last month’s Bonnaroo Festival. As we mentioned, it featured the best material from the group’s four mid-to-late ’90s studio albums including Battle of Who Could Care Less, Army, Song For The Dumped and One Angry Dwarf & 200 Solemn Faces. YouTuber PianoBrad captured the entire set, which was webcast, for our viewing/listening pleasure…
