Neko Case will open four shows for country legend Merle Haggard in February, and then play a few of her own headlining shows later in the month.
Case, primarily a solo artist, but one who has spent much of her performing time in recent years on the road with her ongoing side gig, The New Pornographers, is backing her latest solo album, last year’s "Fox Confessor Brings the Flood."
Case will kick off her support duties for Haggard Feb. 9 in Oakland, CA. The pair will travel together to three more dates beyond that, all in the Pacific Northwest, before Case embarks on her own short headlining run, starting with a Feb. 13 show in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Crooked Fingers leader (and ex-Archers of Loaf member) Eric Bachmann will support Case on all but one of her upcoming headlining dates. The singer’s full itinerary is available on her website.
