The Frames Set To Release New Album Feb 20th

Anti- has announced the US release of the The Frames new album THE
COST, on February 20, 2007. The sixth studio release from the Irish band
was recorded at France's Black Box studios with longtime producer David
Odlum. To support THE COST, The Frames have just confirmed a month-long
US headlining tour, which kicks off April 6 in San Diego, CA.

THE COST, which "Magnet" praised for its "raw loveliness," was recorded
live to capture the energy and spontaneous nature of the band's stage
performance, for which they are loved. The result is an album that
Ireland's "Evening Herald" declared "the best thing The Frames have done.

In other Frames news, frontman Glen Hansard recently starred in "Once",
an Irish film about the relationship between a street musician (Hansard)
and a Czech pianist (Marketa Irglova). "Once", which also features two
songs from THE COST, premiered at this year's Sundance Film Festival, and
won its prestigious World Cinema Audience Award. "The Village Voice"
called it, "the sort of completely un-hyped, unheralded little gem you go
to a festival like Sundance hoping to find..."
