Dinosaur Jr. Return to the Road

Dinosaur Jr. are heading out on the road this spring in support of the a new album, Beyond, the first release featuring the band’s original lineup since 1988’s Bug.
The 27-date club tour kicks off May 10 at The Casbah in San Diego, with a show that, although it’s being billed as "J Mascis and Friends," consists of the same lineup as the reunited Dinosaur Jr. – Mascis, Lou Barlow and Murph.
The trek features multiple dates in a number of cities including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Minneapolis, Chicago and New York and runs through early June. Tickets for several shows are currently on sale, and presale tickets for those that aren’t are available through the band’s Web site.
Although sharp-eyed fans will note that bassist Barlow is currently out on the road with another reunited band, Sebadoh, that tour will finish in mid-April, leaving him plenty of time to prepare for the Dinosaur Jr. tour.
