Wes Borland, former lead guitarist for Limp Bizkit, who sold over 30 million records worldwide, has stepped in front of the mic, and is gearing up to unveil his new super-group, Black Light Burns. Making their first ever live debut at the NARM convention in Chicago April 30th, BLB will then hit the road with Chevelle, kicking off May 7th in Witchita, Kansas.
Cruel Melody, produced by Danny Lohner of Nine Inch Nails, will be released June 5th on famed producer Ross Robinson’s brand new upstart I AM: WOLFPACK label. Both Lohner and Josh Freese of NIN play on the album, as well as Josh Eustis from Telefon Tel Aviv.
The live band of BLB features Borland on lead vocals and guitar, guitarist Nick Annis (Seether), drummer Marshal Kirkpatrick (Today Is The Day, the Esoteric) bassist Sean Fetterman and for now, a laptop computer to wreck ambient havoc.
