As the years pass and the members of the Allman Brothers Band get older, you can’t take the group’s annual March Madness run at the Beacon Theatre for granted. Therefore, we were happy and relieved to see the Allmans will once again take up residency at the legendary venue on Manhattan’s Upper West Side this March for what appears to be a ten-night stand.

A page on American Express’s Entertainment Access website offers fans the opportunity to purchase tickets to the shows before the general public. According to the page, the Allmans will play the Beacon on March 1, 2, 5, 6, 8, 9, 12, 13, 15 and 16. The AmEx presale will start on January 4th at Noon ET and runs through the 10th, so expect tickets to go on sale to the general public shortly after that. We’ll let you know when the band reveals more details about the run.

Hey Scott – Nice coincidental tie-in with today’s Unofficial 31 Days of Dead!
Only 10 nights? I have had a gut feeling that the Allmans will also play a few March shows at the Cap, either before or after the Beacon run…
I noticed you were nice enough not to include the insane prices for the run. These guys need to reel in the madness!
