Round 2 on the Road for The National

Brooklyn-based indie rockers The National, who are out on the European festival circuit promoting their latest release, Boxer, will return to North America before launching a full-scale world tour.
The new run kicks off September 4 at the Theater of Living Arts in Philadelphia, Pa., and features stops across the U.S. and Canada, including the 9:30 Club in Washington, D.C. (September 5-6), Variety Playhouse in Atlanta (September 8), The Bottletree in Birmingham, Ala. (September 12), the Austin City Limits Music Festival (September 16), The Vic Theatre in Chicago (September 22), The Wiltern in Los Angeles (September 28), Seattle’s Showbox (October 2) and the Phoenix Concert Hall in Toronto, O.N. (October 8).
The band’s full European trek launches October 31 at Spring & Airbrake in Belfast, Ireland, and includes stops in Scotland, England, Belgium, France, Spain, Switzerland, Italy, Croatia, Austria, Holland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Germany.
