Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings Gear Up for Fall Tour

Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings, who’ve spent the past year collaborating with artists ranging from Lily Allen and Amy Winehouse to Lou Reed and Rufus Wainwright, are gearing up for a U.S. tour to build buzz for their upcoming release, 100 Days, 100 Nights.
The band will warm up with a couple of shows in Colorado, including August 3 at the Telluride Jazz Celebration and August 4 at The Gothic Theatre in Englewood.
The tour gets rolling October 6 with a headlining show at the Apollo Theatre in Harlem, N.Y., and will see the band out on the road through the end of the year.
Highlights of the trek include La Tulipe in Montreal, Q.C. (November 11), The Magic Stick in Detroit (November 14), First Avenue in Minneapolis (November 16), the Belly Up Tavern near San Diego (December 1), Bimbo’s 365 in San Francisco (December 5) and Neumo’s in Seattle (December 8).
Tickets for the Apollo Theatre show go on sale August 3 through Ticketmaster.
