Recently, Glide Magazine had a chance to speak with her about her debut album, what it's like to have gain such success so quickly and who she'd like to collaborate with in the future.

Stars in Stereo was founded by megabuzz Hoppus pet project City (Comma) State’s former members Justin Siegel, Jordan McGraw, Keith Varon and Drew Langan. Los Angeles rock band Dead Sara have released their highly anticipated self-titled debut album on April 10th on Pocket Kid Records/ Fontana/Universal. Having spent much of last year in the studio, Dead Sara has hit the road in support of their debut full-length album on a spring tour supporting Chevelle abd  another supporting The Used, The band will cap it all off with a 40+ date coast-to-coast run on the Vans Warped Tour this summer, beginning June 16th.

Toronto roots rock band Enter The Haggis reached their goal and then some while nailing it in- house through their own fundraiser, where to their astonishment, $40,000 came in over just a couple months to record their sixth studio album Whitelake. Bar band, they are not.  Enter The Haggis are an established international touring act whose Amazon ratings for Whitelake kill it on two pages with five star ratings.

As Edwards begins her career as a full-time musician, she talks about her writing process, how she handles the whole “Art versus Faith” discussion, how relationships have proved to be fodder for songs, and why music means so much to her.

It's stiff competition amongst artists who need to be heard in the states but haven’t earned their ears.   Steafán Hanvey is one of those artists. Steafán Hanvey & The Honeymoon Junkies was recently released here in the states on October 25th after being released in Finland in 2005 & Ireland in 2006

This LA based Renaissance Woman is also an accomplished singer-songwriter who has already made an artistic impact with her full length debut Spiders that will grasp the ears of both Tori Amos and The National listeners.

Jeff Lloyd of The Heavy Pets opens up and gives us the details on his non-stop party/concert/voyage aboard Jam Cruise featuring his own performances and those of his musical contemporaries. 

Chris Taylor also known at CANT strums the bass for the rock group Grizzly Bear. Taylor is striking out on his own for a solo project entitled Dreams Come True.   We chatted with him before his most recent concert at Lincoln Hall in Chicago.

Welcome to the dream store.  Well technically, it was a practice space in Los Angeles.   However, after some thought, the practice space could very well be where certain dreams got started.  Los Angeles-based band, Indians, is on their way to making all their dreams come true.  All it took was some unyielding support from loyal fans, a music video premiere and lastly, but most importantly, a little bit of talent.

There aren't many musicians  using their talents quite like Buzzy Martin. After years of working in juvenile halls, teaching music and spreading his message of "Education not Incarceration," word spread that the classes were changing kids' lives and Buzzy was asked to teach a twelve-week music program at San Quentin State Prison. Three years and five months later, Buzzy finished his final class at the "Q.” As the author of Don't Shoot I'm The Guitar Man, Marting gives us an depth, truthful and inside scoop of what it was like teaching music inside one of America's top security prisons. English synthpop duo Erasure, consisting of songwriter and former Depeche Mode member/founder/keyboardist Vince Clarke and singer Andy Bell entered the music scene in 1985 with their debut single "Who Needs Love Like That".  This duo recently hit the road for their first tour in five years in support of their new album Tomorrow’s World. Just prior to Clarke announcing his reunion with Depeche Mode’s Martin Gore for a a series of EPs and a new album under the band name VCMG, Glide had a chance to speak with Mr. Andy Bell.

Dead Can Dance was formed in 1981 made up of Brendan Perry and Lisa Gerrard bringing other world ambient music to their dedicated fan base for three decades. Now with his new solo album Ark, Perry returns to the scene after an eleven year recording break. Aside from writing all the lyrics on Ark, Perry plays every instrument to mesh with his distinct voice. Glide recently caught up to him on the road to discuss his latest endeavor.

They Might Be Giants are an alternative rock band composed of John Flansburgh and John Linnell who have delivered heir quirky music to fans for decades. From the college charts to children’s ditties, this duo specialize in educating and entertaining simultaneously. Their latest offering Join Us still holds onto their classic sound while sounding modern. Linnell of the two Johns explained recent life as a little giant.
