15 Years Ago Today- Arcade Fire Released Debut LP ‘Funeral’ (Watch “Wake Up” Live With David Bowie)

15 years ago today, Arcade Fire made their big debut with their debut LP Funeral (released on 9/14/04. The then small indie Montreal based band burst into hearts of critics with a then-new and novel sound that incorporated multi-instruments including violin and cello and many emotionally charged rockers. The album featured singles and now Arcade fire classics:”Neighborhood #1 (Tunnels)”, “Neighborhood #2 (Laïka)”, “Neighborhood #3 (Power Out)”, “Rebellion (Lies)” and “Wake Up.” Funeral even made David Bowie a fan -check out Bowie performing “Wake Up” with Arcade Fire in 2005…
