20 Years Ago Today- Black Crowes, Oasis, Spacehog Kick off “Brotherly Love” Tour in Vegas (Watch Black Crowes Live in LA ’01)

20 years ago today (5/11/01), The Black Crowes, Oasis and Spacehog kicked off the Brotherly Love Tour in Las Vegas. These three rock bands featured pairs of brothers: Noel and Liam Gallagher, Chris and Rich Robinson, Royston and Antony Langdon, respectively. The tour’s title is a nod to the fact that all three pairs of brothers have been known to fight, sometimes physically, sometimes even publicly.

Originally scheduled for 21 dates across the United States and Canada, the three bands performed to capacity crowds in medium-sized arenas and concert halls over the course of a month, including a three-night stand at Radio City Music Hall in New York.  Check out the 2001 version of the Crowes performing at the Greek Theatre in LA during the fourth show of the tour.
