15 years ago today, Tool went to #1 on the U.S. album chart with Lateralus, their fourth studio LP. Lateralus was named Kerrang!’s album of the year in 2001, and the band received the 2002 Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance for the song “Schism.” Watch Tool take on “Schism” live on 9/20/01
