25 Years Ago Today- Golden Smog (Tweedy, Louris, Murphy) Release Second Album ‘Weird Tales’

25 years ago today (10/13/98), Golden Smog – a supergroup of sorts comprised of Jeff Tweedy (Wilco), Gary Louris (Jayhawks), and Dan Murphy (Soul Asylum), and other noteworthy contributors (including Jody Stephens of Big Star) released its second album Weird Tales.
