25 years ago today (8/10/93), Jamiroquai released their debut LP Emergency on Planet Earth.The album produced singles, including “Too Young To Die” and “Blow Your Mind” and was a huge success in its native UK. The album set the corner for a movement of disco/Stevie Wonder infused funk pop that carried the colorful band led by the hatted Jay Kay throughout the 90s and early aughts.
