25 Years Ago Today- Queen Released Its Final LP With Freddie Mercury ‘Made In Heaven’ (Listen to “A Winter’s Tale”)

25 years ago (11/6/95), Queen released Made in Heaven, its final LP with lead singer Freddie Mercury and pieced together from recordings made before Mercury’s 1991 death. It debuts at #1 in the UK, yet remains at the bottom with 1982’s dance influenced Hot Space as Queen’s least popular album. Not a surprise of course, but you got to give a hand to Brian May, Roger Taylor and Roger Deacon for piecing together vocal and piano parts that Mercury recorded before his death and adding thoughtful instrumentation. Check out the dreamy “A Winter’s Tale” off Made in Heaven
