25 years ago today (9/14/95) one of the more interesting co-headling tours of the last century kicked off at the Meadows Music Theatre in Hartford, CT. The Outside Tour featured David Bowie with support from Nine Inch Nails, but arguably at this point in the mid-’90s, Nine Inch Nails might have been bigger than Bowie, as his Outside album featured the industrial elements of Trent Reznor’s creations and stood as a modern influence for the late 40 something Thin White Duke.
