25 years ago today (5/10/94), Weezer released their debut LP Weezer (commonly known as the Blue Album). Produced by The Cars frontman Ric Ocasek, the album served as launching band for Weezer as both and indie and pop mainstay, supported by the singles “Undone – The Sweater Song”, “Buddy Holly”, and “Say It Ain’t So.” Whether its the followup Pinkerton or the Blue Album, Weezer’s 90’s work still remains 1 and 2 by a majority of listeners.
