3 Years Ago Today – Ween Announce Reunion (Watch Broomfield, CO Live ’16)

3 years ago today (11/16/15), Ween announced plans to reunite for their first live performances in over four years. Aaron Freeman (Gene Ween) and Mickey Melchiondo, Jr. (Dean Ween)  made plans to play two shows over President’s Day Weekend (February 12th and 13th, 2016) at the 1st Bank Center in Broomfield, Colorado.

In a statement announcing the reunion, Ween said the two shows are “going to be fucking mind-blowing” with setlists that dig deep into the band’s catalog to try “new stuff that nobody has ever heard live before.” Of course, the duo and bandmates pulled it off and have since been touring steadily since Broomfield. Check out the band. Watch Ween perform “What Deaner Was Talking About” and “Buckingham Green” live in Broomfield 2/12/16.
