30 years ago today (5/27/77), Neil Young released his eighth studio LP American Stars’ n Bars. Compiled from recording sessions scattered over a 29-month period, it includes “Like a Hurricane,” and backup vocals from Linda Ronstadt, Nicolette Larson and Emmylou Harris.
