30 Years Ago Today – Aimee Man Released Debut Solo Album ‘Whatever’

30 years ago today (5/11/93), Aimee Mann released her debut studio LP Whatever. Prior to the release, Mann had released three albums with ‘Til Tuesday, but the band disbanded in 1989. Whatever was met with positive acclaim and formed the blueprint of her respected solo career defined by razor-sharp lyrics and undeniable harmonies.
