30 Years Ago Today- Black Sabbath Closes Tony Martin Era With Divisive ‘Forbidden’ Album

Thirty years ago today (6/5/95), Black Sabbath released its 18th studio album, Forbidden. This recording marked the reunion of Black Sabbath’s Tyr era lineup from 1990, featuring the return of Neil Murray and Cozy Powell. Forbidden is widely regarded as one of Black Sabbath’s most divisive albums, featuring guest appearances from Ice-T and production by Ernie C of Body Count.
