30 years ago today (6/30/93), Fugazi released its third album In on the Kill Taker. Considered the post-hardcore band’s most complete work by many, it was also their first album to debut on the Billboard charts- much probably to their dismay. However, the album was a response to the early Lollapalooza sound that had popularized punk-based music and Fugazi deserved their share of the notoriety having influenced so many of those bands. Ian Mackaye and Guy Picciotto brought their A game lyrically and musically on In on the Kill Taker. Check out #3 in full
