30 Years Ago Today – Guns N’ Roses Releases Esteemed Debut LP ‘Appetite for Destruction’ (Watch “Br. Brownstone” Live ’88)

30 years ago today (7/21/87) Guns N’ Roses released their debut album Appetite for Destruction on Geffen Records. The LP featured the singles ‘Welcome to the Jungle’, ‘Sweet Child o’ Mine’, and ‘Paradise City’ and has had worldwide sales in excess of 28 million, 18 million of which are in the US, making it the best-selling debut album of all time there. The album established Guns N’Roses as worldwide rock stars and one of the biggest and most revered hard rock bands of all time.
