30 Years Ago Today – Motörhead Released ‘1916’ LP – Last To Feature Phil “Philthy Animal” In Entirety

30 years ago today (1/21/91), Motörhead released their ninth album 1916 and their first on WTG Records. The single “The One to Sing the Blues” peaked at #45. The album was the final Motörhead album to feature Phil “Philthy Animal” Taylor on drums in its entirety – one of the true remnants of the Motörhead sound.
